CSRN was founded by a group of academic scholars to exchange information and to bring to the fore the depths to which commodities and a market logic have come to pervade virtually all forms of social life and social interaction.

Registration is now open!
  The Consumer Studies Research Network (CSRN) is sponsoring a one-day mini-conference, The Contested Terrain of Consumption Studies on July 31, 2008.

Our mini-conference will be held at Boston College, immediately prior to the American Sociological Association (ASA) annual meeting at the Sheraton Boston and Marriott Copley Place, Boston, MA on Aug 1-4, 2008.
